The Anatomy of Sin

January 29, 2026

By Sara Ronnevik

With Lent beginning in a couple of weeks, I am sharing my new book “The Anatomy of Sin” which is a discipleship book for Christians. As I have grown in my faith, I have come to crave this season of quiet reflection and repentance. I long for more understanding of what Christ did for me on the cross, to see my sin for as bad as so that I can see Jesus’ suffering on my behalf for as good as it is.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

Below is a PDF file of the book that you can download and save to your computer or send to your Kindle, Kindle phone app, or other e-reader. You can email a pdf to the email address for your e-reader. (If you haven’t done this before, you can look up the instructions by searching “email to kindle” or the type of reader you own). This format will contain all of the content of the book, but it is not formatted for e-readers and so it will do some odd things with the spacing etc.

I also have an EPUB file of the book that is formatted for e-readers and works really well on the Kindle phone app, Kindle, Kindle Scribe and other e-readers. I am not able to upload that file to wordpress, so if you would like the epub version click here: Anatomy of Sin EPUB Once you download this file you can email it to your e-reader.

I want this book to be free and easy to access for anyone who wants it or would like to share it. Please feel free to share it with as many people as you would like. The printed book is also available on Amazon, but I really do not want the cost or printing and shipping to get in the way of anyone having access to this book, so I highly encourage sharing the pdf and epub versions of the book.
